Another wonderful trip to Upper Farm. Last time we stayed in a beautiful cabin with a hot tub, this time we returned with the children to the Pool House. It did not disappoint. Gary met us at the entrance and showed us around, he is so kind and helpful! The house is perfect for a family of 4, the bed was so comfortable and the children were happy on the fold out bed. The highlight is the outside with a large, heated swimming pool and hot tub. Our 2 night stay was so relaxing. Thank you! We will be back!

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing break at The pool house. Communication from our host Gary was excellent...he is very welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t have picked better weather for our stay and the pool and hot tub made it fantastic! The fishing lakes are really picturesque with red kites soaring above us whilst we fished...my husband particularly enjoyed the fishing and said they were the best kept lakes he had ever been to There is a nice pub for a good meal out not far away...also shops and a bakery with lovely cakes in the village. Everything is there that you could possibly need for a great holiday...the only thing that could have made it EVEN better would have been a fan or air con as it gets very hot in the house in sunny weather. I would highly recommend the Pool house and if you didn’t want a swimming pool there are also luxury lodges with hot tubs at the same location. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day.

Lovely Pool & Hot Tub

The owner, Gary, met us on arrival and showed us around the Pool House with kindness and enthusiasm. He’s very friendly and accommodating. His communication throughout the whole booking process and during our stay was excellent. The Pool House is amazing! It’s got every mod-con you can think of! The owners have really thought about what would make it a comfortable stay. There’s lots of storage space and all the utensils you’d need in the kitchen. WiFi and the sound system were top notch. The Pool is absolutely lovely. When the sun is shining it’s like being abroad! Having the hot tub too for cooler weather is perfect. We made good use out of them both and we were sad to leave it behind! The accommodation is in a lovely setting. Watching Red Kites soar above us was a delight! We also enjoyed hearing the horsey noises in the background. We went for some lovely walks during our stay. It was a really nice escape into nature. My only recommendation would be to install air conditioning or to provide a fan. The afternoon sun really heated The Pool House so it was a bit uncomfortably warm during the night. We opened the windows and shut the blinds throughout the day but it was still over heated. However, it didn’t effect our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. It really is a delightful break away.

Amazing Host amazing place, quite location perfect for a weekend away with your partner with your own private pool and hot tub. Will be returning soon.

A wonderful place to relax in the midst of a horse farm. A beautiful heated swimming pool that we loved starting the day in, as well as other times. An awesome hot tub to end the evening in. Smart & modern facilities, comfortable large bed, plenty of wardrobe space if you are staying for a week. Great walks around the farm & into & through the hamlet. Peaceful & quiet even though it is a working farm. Would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely place, everything you could need. The Pool House has a great outdoors space with artificial grass, sun loungers, garden furniture, a pool and hot tub. Perfect place for a weekend away with nice pub for lunch in walking distance. Beautiful location. Friendly host. The garden looks great at night with the outdoors lights and hot tub lights on.

What an amazing place! So wonderfully run, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Gary, the owner is one of the most happiest people we have had the pleasure to meet. So many places to explore in this beautiful countryside! A return visit is for sure.

We had a fabulous stay and the hot tub was such a nice touch! Perfect winter getaway and the farm looked beautiful in the snow! Would highly recommend!

Pleasant break offering exactly what we needed

It was a really lovely location. Very peaceful. Great touch to have the Jacuzzi for the cold evenings looking at the stars. The facilities were all good and the space was well equipped. My daughter (4) was very upset upon leaving so I am sure we will be back.

We had a lovely three day stay at this beautiful pool house. Gary respected our privacy and was a wonderful host, letting us know he was there should we need him. On our last day he showed us round and showed us his new log cabins, which we will definitely be booking in the future. The pool house itself has everything you need. It is clean and very private. Due to the time of year we didn't use the pool - inviting as it looks - but the hot tub was amazing. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Gary :)
