COVID-19 Amendments

Upper Farm Fishery and our onsite tackle and camping shop Trinity Outdoors re-opened on Wednesday 13th May 2020.

We have implemented additional rules that supersede some of our standard rules and procedures to keep anglers and staff safe and we will continue to follow and adapt to the latest Government guidelines.

Please read these rules carefully which will continue to be applied during the COVID-19 outbreak.

New Booking & Arrival Procedure

1. DO NOT just turn up and expect to be able to fish. You must either book online or notify us in advance or speak to us on the day that you plan to fish to make sure we have availability.

You can reserve a peg for any day up to 7 days in advance (by phone) or book a permit online via this website.

If you wish to reserve a peg by phone, you must notify us of your planned visit and reserve a peg by calling the fishery bailiff or tackle shop between 8am and 6pm (please do not call outside of these hours).

Any non fishing guest(s) must arrive at the same time as the angler(s). Only one (1) non fishing guest is allowed per angler.

2. Upper Farm Fishery is accessed by entering a code on an electronic keypad to open the gate. It is not possible for us to regularly sanitise the keypads. Therefore, on arrival YOU MUST wash your hands in the hand basin located in the toilet by the fishery car park.

3. DO NOT begin to setup on any peg or platform until you have checked-in (from 8am) at the Tackle Shop or spoken to the bailiff on 07476 082142. You will then be directed to your allocated Peg. You will be required to provide your name and telephone number when you check-in and you must show your Environment Agency Fishing Licence.

4. Card Payment for day tickets is preferred, but we are able to take cash

5. Once you have been allocated a peg, you must remain on the same peg for the duration of your session. If you wish to change pegs, then YOU MUST obtain permission from the Tackle Shop or Bailiff.

6. Please be aware that the toilet and fishery gate will be being disinfected and cleaned throughout the day.

7. You must adhere to the current government COVID-19 guidelines, including observing social distancing rules, support bubble structures, washing of hands and remaining at home if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

New rules for the tackle shop

1. Before entering the shop YOU MUST use the hand washing facilities located in the toilet block of the Fishery Car Park.

2. From Friday 24th July 2020 you must wear a face covering when entering the shop.

3. No more than 2 people are allowed in the shop at once. If there are already 2 people in the shop please wait outside until 1 person has left.

4. Please as much as possible stick to the 2 metre distancing rule advised by the government.

5. Card payments are preferred, but we are able to take cash payments.

6. Rod and Equipment Hire is not available at this present time.

7. Please touch as little of the stock as possible, when in store. Emma is happy to pick out the items that you would like to buy.

8. Please do NOT stand in the doorway to the office when paying.

9. Please be aware that the shop will be being disinfected and cleaned throughout the day.

10. Please be patient and respectful to other customers and the staff. We are all learning on the spot how to operate in these trying times.

If you do not adhere to these procedures that we have put in place, you will be asked to leave the fishery and will not receive any form of refund.

If we all work together, we can hopefully provide a safe place for all to enjoy.
