The pool house was a great find! Having unrestricted use of a pool is hard to find, it was so nice to spend most of the day in the very clean well maintained swimming pool. The hot tub was lovely too.  We found the beds to be very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.  The area is very quiet with beautiful surroundings.  The guest book was the most comprehensive we have ever had. Everything from restaurant and takeaway recommendations to local walks. Really helpful when you don’t know the area at all! Would love to stay again  Thank you :)

Excellent break again this year

Excellent break again this year. We all enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the pool during the day and hot tub in the evening. Clean accommodation. Easy to book takeaways as they delivered directly to the Pool House. I am sure we will be returning again next year too. Thanks to Gary who was always on hand to handle any issues.

We had such an amazing stay and we are defo coming back next year. We are going to rent the pool house long with one of the other lodges next year for a family holiday.

Fantastic place to stay

We stayed recently at The Pool House with our 2 grown up children and 2 sausage dogs. We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pool and hot tub were amazing and the lodge was great. Gary was a fab host from start to finish and we would definitely book again.

Really lovely place, the pool was amazing. We have stayed in a few villas abroad and the pool was definitely better than the ones we have had in Spain.  For an autistic child/adult this is an excellent choice Next time we will venture to the local pub and into Chinnor to explore more of the surroundings.  Take away delivery was really good and plenty of choice so we had no problems with food options despite my daughter being unable to leave the lodge because of her anxiety. And the kitchen has everything you need to prepare food.  We plan to return next year :-)

Great getaway location on a farm, always at least one friendly horse to greet you on your ways. Gary was very responsive to any odd question we had, the space is well laid out, has great amenities and the outside pool/hot tub are great to relax in.

The Pool House at Upper Farm is in a beautiful, peaceful location, in the tiny hamlet of Henton, just a few minutes from the village of Chinnor. Immersed in nature and surrounded by fields and horses, we had a lovely romantic break away from the stresses of daily life! There's a great pub - The Peacock - 5 mins walk from the farm, which serves a delicious Sunday Roast with super yorkshire puddings! Highly recommend a visit! There's also another great pub - The Red Lion in Chinnor, which had a guest gourmet burger van there on Saturday night, which was lovely. The Chinese takeaway in Chinnor - Golden Chopsticks - offers fast delivery to the Pool House, which is awesome after a long day walking in the Chilterns. There are some fab walks from the farm in the most stunning countryside. For a bit of retail therapy we visited Bicester Village, which was only 30mins drive. We went early in the morning when it opened to avoid the crowds! We loved The Pool House and would definitely return!

We stayed in the pool house, fantastic location with a beautiful scenery. Very private and comfortable stay. Welcome book was very informative with places to visit and restaurant in area. I would advise you do a shop before, as local shops are not walking distance. We had four days of quality family time and the pool and hot tub was amazing. Highly recommended, we will be returning. We had a perfect weekend getaway at Chiltern Lodges with our dog! The lodge was cozy and well-equipped, set in a beautiful and peaceful location. We enjoyed fantastic hiking trails right on our doorstep, followed by relaxing evenings in the hot tub. A wonderful retreat for nature lovers—can’t wait to return!

Excellent place to stay will defintely re book. The cabin itself was immaculate and had everything you needed, kitchen fully equiped, bedding and plenty of towels all pristine clean, the hot tub was amazing although didnt brave the pool. Everyone on site was very friendly, the horses where lovely, lovely fishing lake and again surroundings immaculate, managed to purchase some lovely fresh eggs and some lovely homemade jam, local pub was just down the road a short walk, food looked amazing, lots of lovely scenery this place is definetly in our top 5 of where to stay in uk hopefully rebooking this summer to bring family along as well.
