Great relaxing getaway

This is an extremely well equipped retreat.
Gary was a very considerate host who communicated brilliantly with us even before we arrived. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown how to use the facilities.
We were then left to enjoy our stay.
Unfortunately the English weather was not on our side (even with it being August!) but that didn't stop us from having a lovely stay and making full use of the hot tub and heated swimming pool.
It was lovely being able to wander around the onsite lake and venture out to the nearby pub for a drink too.
Would highly recommend & will hopefully be returning on some warmer days (fingers crossed).

Exactly like the pictures

We had an amazing vacation! The kids swam in the pool every day while we enjoyed the hot tub. The pool house was clean, comfortable, and private. We would definitely stay here again!!!

My 2nd visit to the pool house and will not be my last! A great get away for my family, kids loved the pool and we adults love the hot tub!! the facilities are great even down to the kitchen appliances! The staff leave you to it but are right there when you need them! Would recommend 100%

Really nice private location, to escape the city life. Hot tub and pool was amazing and the information about the local area left by Gary was really helpful. Perfect for couples or a small family.

​Excellent facilities.

+ Clean, modern and hi-tech. Pool and hot tub are perfect - clean and inviting. We found everything we needed - hairdryer, clothes drying rack, ice in the freezer, and even milk cartons in the cupboard when we realised we'd forgotten to bring some!

- The route from car park to gate, and the damaged pool pump room door, let the property down at first impression, which is a shame as once inside the fence everything is lovely. The fridge door front display panel is "whistling" because the wiring in the top of the door has snapped - when the fridge is half open they re-connect and the panel lights up and goes silent! Not a problem sleeping if we closed the kitchen door. The interior is a bit soul-less - very clean and shiny but felt like a smart caravan rather than a cosy chalet.

If you want relaxation in total privacy this is the place. We stayed at the pool house July 2017 2 adults 2 children our stay was lovely. The accommodation is very comfy with all mod cons & spacious. The pool area & hot tub are heaven, we had great weather whilst there & kids spent the 3 days in the pool (well we all did) a fantastic place for a break. Great places to eat within walking distance, lovely fishing lake onsite this place really does have it all in a beautiful setting. Everything from booking to departure was as it should be completely hassle free, Gary is the perfect host, on hand if you need anything during your stay, very helpful.

Perfect Retreat

Location excellent, brilliant pool, privacy good for dog, ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Perfect retreat

Lovely 2 day break at the pool house. Excellent facilities both in the accomodation and garden. Weather was excellent so made full use of the pool during the day and hot tub at night. Owner Gary was very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Lovely country walks, local pub serves very good food. Definately be returning.

Great stay at The Pool House! Everything was as expected and the entire place was well equipped, the hot tub was great. Location was also excellent and we found a nice long walk with the dog from the information that Gary had left for us on arrival. After meeting Gary on arrival he also brought us over a complimentary bottle of Prosecco as he found as it was our wedding anniversary!

Perfect

Had a great time staying at the pool house. It was perfect and so relaxing. Lovely accommodation and Gary was very welcoming. Will be visiting again soon hopefully

Lovely, private but cold!

Love it... but the time of year chosen to cold to swim, tried twice! Hot tub glorious. Accommodation cute, but a little dirty, and dusty and the red blinds a no no! Other than that beautiful. Thank you x

Very fun place to spend a few days

I arrived fairly late in the evening and Gary was there to greet me and get me settled. The place is nice and clean. The bed is a very comfortable memory foam. The kitchen is new and we'll equipped. The large hot tub worked flawlessly. Would definitely stay here again.
