We booked this at the last minute as a get away from it all break. Gary was very helpful from the first contact, and throughout our stay. The pool house is really well equipped, everything you could need, and the pool and hot tub are amazing. The local area is very pretty, we made a visit to Bletchley park too which was fascinating. We ate at the local pub, the peacock, and the food was delicious, our dog thought so too!

Most excellent retreat

The accommodation is well presented and clean, the ability to link music to hot tub was a real plus as was the detailed instructions, which easily clarified any complications ! Even thought the house and business were nearby, it felt incredibly private. Gary welcomed us with helpful local information and then left us to our own devices. Lovely area and very peaceful. Super large hot tub just amazing, will definitely be returning and would highly recommend a visit x

We had a wonderful stay at Gary's pool house. Instructions were clear on how to get there and check in was really easy even though we were late coming from work. The guide book that was left was extremely useful: all instructions were clear and lots of good suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Cupboards were stocked with essentials and there were lots of nice touches about the place - towels included, the Bluetooth speaker system and the extremely comfy bed. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into it and it's fantastic. Can't recommend it highly enough, thank you!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay - despite the weather not being great. The kitchen was fully equipped, really comfortable bed, clean and Gary was great getting back to us with queries and gave us all we needed to know well in advance. We'd really recommend staying here. Lovely place (and the hot tub was fab!)

Great hidden gem

If you are looking for peace and quiet with a touch of something special, this is the right place to go. Lovely hot tub, great facilities, well stocked kitchen and high quality entertainment systems throughout. The hardest part was dragging ourselves from the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years. Wonderful couple who run the pool house, and a really useful handbook for the area etc. We will definitely be back with the children in the summer to use that pool!!!

I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough. Beautiful surroundings, attention to detail and a fabulous hot tub. The Peacock pub down the road served excellent food and all the staff were very friendly. We will be returning in the summer to make the most of the pool too. Book. You will not be disappointed.

What a great place to stay and most definitely going back. It was too cold for the pool however time in the the hot tub was welcome after a long day at the fishing lake. The Peacock Country Inn is only a short walk from the pool house and the food there is great and so are the staff. Take a torch if you intend to walk back in the dark just in case although the road is very quiet and you are unlikely to meet any traffic. There is a lot of information in the welcome pack with other places to eat and drink as well as things in the area to visit. You can chill out and watch a bit of Sky TV or play some music through the high quality audio system to relax. The kitchen is fully functional with a good fridge and dishwasher if you intend to prepare your own meals or simply grab a quick breakfast before going out exploring. There is plenty of space in the boot room for wellies and fishing gear so you don't need to worry about tripping over it in the living area.
