May 2016 in The Pool House

Wow, what a great stay we had at this beautiful pool house. Gary was a great host and sent us all the details before arriving and was also there to meet us and show us around when we arrived. The venue itself is great, set in the centre of the equestrian centre but with total privacy it's very safe and secure and just a short stroll from the fishing lakes which were well kept. There's a well stocked tackle shop on site and shops around 5 minutes drive away for any essentials. The pool house itself is very spacious and the bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in a long time. The kitchen has everything you need and we did some serious cooking while we were there, eating outside by the pool in the sun really makes you feel like you're on holiday. Full Sky TV has been installed and speakers in the ceiling make for great movie nights in. Fixtures and fittings all brand new and were high quality. Gary mentioned a tablet would be in the pool house soon to control the internal temperature and the pool. It was a bit chilly to use the pool this time round but other than that we were very comfortable and will definitely be looking to return in the summer to make use of the pool and explore more of the surrounding area. If you're looking for a gorgeous, private home away from home to relax then I would highly recommend this place, will definitely be returning.
