My stay at the pool house was truly amazing. The intimate setting made it perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. Gary, the host, was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The kids especially enjoyed their time in the pool, which maintained a perfect, warm temperature. We even used it on a cloudy, gloomy day, and it was still delightful. The jacuzzi was a highlight for us at night, providing a perfect spot to relax and gaze at the stars. One of the unique aspects of this property is the presence of horses on the farm. We watched them train and admired their beauty as they walked around, all from the comfort of our pool house. This pool house is ideal for Hijabis seeking a private pool experience. Our time there was thoroughly enjoyable, and we are already planning our next visit back.

Lovely stay, with clear instruction for the pool and mod cons. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fishing facilities. Gary was very welcome and on hand to help. Highly recommend.

Can't recommend highly enough!! if you're looking for a chilled private weekend or longer this place is ideal. The outdoor space was perfect for our needs and our dog enjoyed the secure perimeter that allowed him to run free. The Jacuzzi was an added bonus and was enjoyed throughout the day and evenings. We were fortunate to have really good weather so managed to also enjoy the substantial pool. The inside of the cabin is sizeable for two but would also easily be comfortable for more. The comforts are there should you want to snuggle up and watch a film but in reality the outdoor space is too good to waste. The area is peaceful, relaxed and you're surrounded by horses and a fishing lake. The property is not overlooked so you really do feel at ease. Can imagine it would be even better in the summer.

We had a great stay in ‘The Pool House’. The place was very comfortable and we got a lot of use out of the jacuzzi. The place includes every amenity anyone could ever need so if you are wondering it this place is worth a visit, I would say yes, you’ve going to enjoy your stay here.

New Year 2024 in The Pool House

Visited the pool house for new year. Exactly what was described and more! Was private peaceful and my son enjoyed seeing the horses every morning and said good night to them every evening which made his time at the pool house, everyone we came into contact with was Very friendly. Felt like home from home. Would highly recommend. The dogs had a blast too! Was just what we needed to end the year!

Gary was available to kindly meet us on arrival. A lovely warm welcome and a very clear explanation of everything we needed to know. The farmhouse was very well presented and clean, more than enough towels and the kitchen had all the things we needed. The jacuzzi was absolutely perfect. Overall we had a great stay and highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay Pool was heated at a steady 26°c and the garden was a sun trap if you get the weather 😎 Hot tub was better than expected, good strong massage jets and great for looking up at the stars after turning all the lights off. Kitchen was well equipped and had no issues with cooking. Tv and sound system was great with Netflix and Sky. Powerful rainfall shower. Superb mattress! 1 thing most air b&bs lack is a decent mattress but not here. Sofa wasn't very comfortable some big scatter cushions would help. But all in all a great stay and would definitely return in better weather. Thanks Gary for being a superhost

We had an amazing time at Gary's place! The Pool House has everything you need to live comfortably for your whole stay and it was very clean. The swimming pool and hot tub were delightful. It's such a perfect place to bring your dog along safely thanks to the high fences. We had lovely walks in the countryside as well, it's such a gorgeous area of Oxfordshire. We didn't know how the surroundings would look like, and as it is a working farm, it is expected to be a bit rough around the edges. We loved it and will be back for sure!
