Absolutely perfect! We unfortunately had our abroad holiday cancelled due to snow/wind/rain, so we wanted a quick and easy getaway nearby, and this completely delivered.
Set on beautiful farmland, with a beautiful lake right in front the lodge. The lodge was immaculate and the hot tub and sauna was just an incredible bonus.
Easily accessible, with clear instructions on how to access the property, as well as a fantastic book laying out how to work everything, alongside local restaurants, pubs, shops and takeaway options.
We cannot wait to stay here again, thank you Gary!!

Idyllic quiet location for a chilled weekend away with the family. Good for long walks followed by food and drinks in country pubs. Was -5 when we stayed so the sauna and hot tub were perfect! Gary was very communicative and recommended lots of pubs and restaurants to visit. Sky tv made us really feel at home.
Can’t fault it! We had the best stay. Will 100% be back again. Never felt so at home at a rental before. Loved it

Kingfisher cabin was a peaceful & tranquil escape for the weekend. Considering I booked with less than 24 hours notice, the responsiveness in communications was seriously impressive, even letting me know I could check in early if ready. The hot tub looks out onto the fishing lake which was stunning at sunset and the lack of light pollution meant you could see the supermoon and stars so clearly too. I'd 100% recommend this location for a relaxing break any time of the year!

Warm, cosy, perfect
Lovely warm and cosy lodge. Sauna and hot tub were spot on. No issues with Bluetooth connectivity to the tub, WiFi also perfect. Found some lovely local pubs for meals out, detailed in the welcome pack. All in all, would highly recommend.

Lovely quiet lodge for the days over Christmas. Lots of places to walk the dog and we were lucky with the weather. Would have no hesitation to recommend and would definitely book again

Beautiful cabin overlooking a fishing lake, private as hedges meant you couldn’t be overlooked. Sauna and hot tub inside which was perfect. Beautiful location.

We had a great stay at Gary’s. From the start, Gary was friendly & proactive with communication. The accommodation was as described, spotless and had all the amenities we could want. There were great walking routes that Gary kindly pointed out and the location was really peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the benefit of the hot tub as well. All in a great place to stay, thanks Gary!

The cottage had great facilities and was hi-tech. Clear instructions on everything and how to use. Great if you're into fishing. Gary was a great host and was very helpful when my partner felt ill.

Perfect for a getaway from the city, we went with friends for a relaxing staycation and couldn’t have asked for a cozier place. The farm and the red kite make for a perfect escape. Hot tub was the icing on the cake.

Gary was super responsive and neatly compiled everything we could possibly want to know.
