Stayed here with 3 friends for New Years Eve. Everything was as described. The lodge was very well kitted out with good bathrooms. The wifi worked very well. The hot tub was a delight to use even in the freezing cold nights! Gary was on hand for any help and advice we needed...we even drove to the cotswolds for the day. My one small gripe would be the beds are standard doubles...when youre used to bigger beds at home the move back to a standard double wasn't great..but I understand not much can be done because of the size of the bedroom. Would recommend if looking for a great getaway only an hour or so drive out of London.

Great relaxing few days for New Year! Lovely accommodation in a great setting and lots to do in the local area. The host, Gary, recommends good places to eat locally and was really helpful overall.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE BASED ON THE PHOTOS! It is 1 million times better!!!! This place is just such a lovely, relaxing haven and we can not recommend it enough! Fantastic!

Had a fantastic weekend at the Red Kite Lodge! We were welcomed by Gary who was great with lots of tips to help us make the most of our weekend. The lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub was fantastic! Nice surrounding area too for exploring with plenty of pubs along the way. Was also lovely to watch the Red Kites flying over. Would definitely recommend these lodges!

If I could sum up everything in one word it would be “perfection” from start to finish. Despite that we arrived on Gary’s spectacular farm on a rainy evening, he walked us through the site by being filled with a warmth, politeness and joy. He was more than happy to show us everything and answer all our queries. We loved the lodge and definitely we are going to visit again. It is only one hour drive away from London and we found it the perfect retreat for the weekend.

We have just returned from staying at Gary’s Kingfisher lodge. One word... Amazing! From start to finish the experience was 5 stars. If I could give it 6 I would. Beautiful location, beautiful lodge. Everything had been thought of... fully equip kitchen with plastic cups perfect for the hot tub! We received a manual a couple of days before and it was extremely detailed which helped us with our stay. The simba bed is definitely a 10/10, so comfy. Everything about the lodge was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Perfect way to spend a 30th birthday!

Amazing, tea coffee and milk provided which was a lovely bonus, met by the owner for welcome, help and tips, hot tub was amazing, secluded location. Lovely weekend break.

Absolutely fantastic. A perfect retreat away from the city, without going too far away! We took a day trip to Oxford and Bicester and was lovely to come back to a peaceful lodge with everything you could ever want.. Sauna, Hot tub, Huge bath, Rain shower.. almost our own personal Spa Resort. Perfect for couples. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away.

It’s a great accommodation with amazing features. Very relaxing stay, not too far from central London. Would definitely come back, to charge your energy batteries before going back to reality.
