The lodge was outstanding!! The location was beautiful overlooking the lake, yet it felt very private & secluded & as if we could have been anywhere in the world. Inside the lodge is beautifully presented & cleaned to an exceptional standard, fitted out to a very high spec & was perfect in every aspect. Gary was very hospitable & nothing was too much trouble & we can’t wait to come & stay again.

This location was everything we needed, very easy to find and check in. The place was clean, better than the pictures and every guest was impressed with the property. Highly recommend

Red Kite Lodge is wonderful! Such a gorgeous location, and very comfortable accommodation. Gary is a brilliant host, with loads of great advice and recommendations. The Indian restaurant (Duo Chef) is amazing! Lovely walks and cozy evenings in the hot tub. I only wish we were there for longer than 2 nights.

Stunning place! Peaceful relaxing! So much wildlife to see! The lodge is incredible! Amazing facilities, sauna and hot tub is epic! Incredible host! You must try the yummy eggs from his hens! Lovely stay highly recommend xxx

Great place to get away from busy city life. Can’t beat the feeling you get gazing at the nature whilst in a hot tub. Thank you for hosting us. We had a great time at the cabin, the hot tub was brilliant and so were the fresh eggs.

We loved our weekend away at the lodges. The place was clean and we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! Gary was very helpful providing lots of information that we needed prior to our stay so we really appreciated that!

We had a most enjoyable stay in this extremely comfortable lodge. The fittings are all of a high standard and there is a great deal of attention given to comfort. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

What a lovely stay! We were so sad to leave. The lodge was spotless and perfect for a long weekend. We loved the hot tub and the sauna was perfect for warming up after jumping out of the hot tub into the night air! It was worth every penny. Gary also recommended some fun walks with brilliant views, and when we realised we had nothing to light our bbq with (woops!) Gary was quick to respond to come to our rescue. We hope to come back again - perhaps in the winter months - to this fantastic stay. Our only slight negative was that the lodge had a bit of a ‘doggy’ smell to it, but nothing a bit of air freshener couldn’t help with and it’s to be expected in accommodation that is kind enough to let us bring our furry friends with us. 10/10, we cannot wait to return in the future! The Kingfisher Lodge is a great little place on a farm. It has the most privacy out of all the lodges, so when you're enjoying the hot tub nobody will walk past. We didn't try the Sauna, but the hot tub is amazing! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the free Netflix access is great for relaxed evenings on the sofa. There's one pub with outstanding food in walking distance (about 15min), but you need to drive everywhere else.

Highly recommend! Great facilities, lovely site and peaceful location. The hot tub and sauna were so relaxing and adds a great feature to the cabin. Kingfisher lodge was very secluded and felt very safe and relaxing. Can’t wait to book again!
