The tranquil setting is perfect to escape the stresses of every day life. Gary is a great host, and is always pleased to offer any assistance, or advice regarded dogs walks, fishing tips etc. Freshly laid eggs were a nice touch on our arrival. And there are lovely toiletries, robes, and all the essentials and much more in the lodge. We will definitely return.

Gary’s place was really beautiful. Great for a romantic get away or for anyone needing a relaxing quiet break. The hot tub, sauna and bathroom where clean and again beautiful. I highly recommend.

Wonderful lodge with everything you need for a few nights stay. The hot tub is amazing and the lodge has many luxurious touches. I really liked that the TV had Netflix and sky. The bath tub was also amazing. The lodge is set in a quiet area and it's a really great place to get away

Lovely place, feels like you're at one with nature, off the beaten track but well within distance from shops, pubs villages and towns for pretty much anything you'd like to do. A day of retail therapy, finished with hot tub, sauna and luxurious bath was perfect! Followed by an incredible Hike around the Chilterns. We will definitely return.

If your looking for the perfect get away in a beautiful cosy setting with amazing views and facilities. Look no further! The red kite lodge was amazing and fully functional for our stay and we loved it! The welcome pack had every piece of information needed including numerous activities to do, local shops, restraunts and take aways. The hot tub was lush! The location was very secure and only a small drive to Bicester village and Oxford city centre! Sky on the box was a massive bonus for us! The beds were really comfortable. Gary made us feel very welcome on our visit! I 100% recommend. 🙂

Simply perfect stay in the kingfisher Lodge for our 1st wedding anniversary. The hot tub was amazing and had the best views over the fishing lake. And the bathroom was pure luxury. Every little detail was thought about and the kitchen had everything you would need. Will definitely be back again and will be recommending it to everyone we know.

The stay was lovely and would definitely recommend! The lodge was nice and private. The place has great amenities and nice local pubs, there isn’t loads about but it’s lovely for a long weekend to get away from everything.

First off I would like to say that the owner Gary and Emma at the tackle shop were very pleasant to chat to. I stayed in the Red Kite lodge, it was very roomy and warm with all the essentials you could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable and would put me out like a light, bathrooms were immaculate and the dining/lounge area was very cosy and ideal for a little movie night or group dinner, had a bit of difficulty opening the hot tub lid correctly but Gary did explain and show how to open it after coming to the lodge to get us to turn the music off, it was well past midnight and the welcome guide did state the music could be low but in fact it had to be off by 11pm (rules weren't updated in welcome guide) but there was no harm or foul between us and Gary, he was still very pleasant especially when seeing him by the fishing lake on the next day, the lake itself is a hard one as the fish rarely showed during my stay but it was still nice sitting beside it hoping to get a carp.
Overall, great little weekend away, would definitely recommend a trip here to get away from the noisy city, wish I stayed for a week!
