These lodges are unlike the mainstream holiday park lodges, they are private and peaceful and the luxury touches like Simba mattresses & pillows, touch control heating & lighting and spa-like decor made you understand why these lodges are different and worth the extra few ££'s. Gary stopped by to offer helpful suggestions for transport to Wembley Stadium (only a 35 minute train ride) while dropping off freshly laid eggs for our breakfast. We had amazing weather so used the sun lounging area, complete with a unique cold splash shower (in a well!). The hot-tub was clean and quite large and in a perfect spot to star gaze at night or watch the Red Kites fly above while you relax in the day. We did not stay long enough to explore the surrounding area but what we saw was beautiful. We wished we had booked for longer and will definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge. It was really cosy and its rare to find a lodge that has a sauna which was 10/10. The location is very peaceful and secure. The lodge was fully equipped with all the essentials in the kitchen etc. A really helpful guide was provided with all information that you would need. Great stay and would definitely recommend. Gary was also very speedy at responding to any queries.

From start to finish everything was spot on and it was a great surprise for the wife’s 30th as well as it being our first time away as a family of 4 (baby & dog)! Beautiful area, very modern setup with some nice extras. Plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area and within driving distance. Overall a great experience! My stay with my family was really nice. We had a lovely quiet time in Chinnor surrounded by beautiful scenery and farm. I like how the estate is managed very well. Gary as a host was very helpful and responsive and have given us a very thorough guide for the ones staying. I would recommend this place for you if you’re looking to recharge at a countryside. We really enjoy the hot tub too!

A haven for relaxation and tranquillity in the heart of the countryside.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chiltern Lodges, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque countryside. The lodge itself was comfortable and charming, from the cosy living spaces to the well equipped kitchen. Gary and his team were exceptional, providing a warm and friendly welcome from the moment we arrived and and welcoming our two dogs.
The welcome pack had lots of information and recommendations which made our exploration of the countryside even more enjoyable. The lodge's hot tub and sauna were the epitome of relaxation. After a day of exploring the stunning surroundings , sinking into the bubbling hot tub was a sheer delight. surrounded by the tranquillity of nature, we soaked away our cares, enjoying the therapeutic benefits. The sauna provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and detoxify, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We had an amazing stay at Red Kite lodge, the owners had thought of everything! There were 6 of us staying and we had a really comfortable sleeps, lots of hot water, loved the massive hot tub with the inbuilt speakers. The view of the horses and hills was lovely and the local walks and countryside were great.
We'd definitely return.

Such a wonderful stay. Very peaceful. Spotless lodges with everything you will need. Sauna and hot-tub were fantastic. Honestly cannot fault it for a relaxing break - Gary is an excellent host too. Really friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Lovely lodge, with amazing views and Gary was amazing when we had a couple of questions (nothing bad). We ordered eggs and they were there when we arrived. The hot tub, bath and sauna were amazing and the bed was very comfy Would definitely recommend.

The Chiltern Lodge was the perfect getaway. Enjoyed the secluded jacuzzi and fantastic sauna, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy sitting room and bedroom. Would highly recommend.
