Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the Kingfisher lodge. This particular lodge was more private than the other two. You can be overlooked by people fishing but you can't be seen by your neighbours. The whole surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. There are plenty of walks from your doorstep and pubs nearby within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the use of the sauna and hot tub after our 14km hike. Would highly recommend this lodge and the chutney, jam and eggs that Gary has for sale too.

A unique stay at Upper Farm. Great location for walking around the Chilterns and southern Oxfordshire. Cute cabin, plenty of space for 3 of us. Loved the hot tub. All the basics required to prep easy dinners. Beautiful to watch the horses in the fields and the amazing red kites circling over us.

We had a great stay in our lodge. Amenities were brilliant and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The lodge was spotless, and the bedrooms were all extremely comfortable. Location is beautiful and so lovely and quiet which made for a relaxing stay. Thanks for having us!

Gary has thought of everything you will need! We couldn’t fault this getaway! We enjoyed it so much we wanted to try and book an extra night but it was already booked up, boohoo. The location is private and easily accessible. Close to breathtaking walks and dog friendly pubs. The place itself was clean, cozy and welcoming. Gary will definitely be seeing us again :)

We stayed here for four nights with young children and can’t recommend the place enough. The kids loved the hot tub and riding their bikes right outside the lodge. They also enjoyed watching the horses. We were visiting family in the local area and found it a great base for lots of family friendly walks and attractions. We would love to come back in the future. Had the best stay! Stunning location, place was so homely - perfect weekend for our engagement. Gary was great, delivered us some fresh eggs!

A beautiful lodge in a peaceful setting. Everything was immaculate and there was everything we could need for our stay. Gary took the time to get in touch before, during and after our stay and we felt very welcome. The hot tub was also great fun and the location was perfect to visit the surrounding area.

We had an amazing weekend at Gary's. The lodge was really cozy and comfortable, everything is thought to detail, perfect temperature, decor, equipped kitchen and bathroom. Smooth self check in and out. The hot tub was fantastic!! Gary has put together a very helpful guide to explore the local area, make sure you check it out. We went for a hike around the Chiltern Hills, it's beautiful! The route we did ended in the Lions of Bledlow, a local pub that was built in the 1500's - great chill vibe. We went to The Crown for dinner and the food was really good! We also bought some fresh eggs from Gary's farm (at a very affordable price and such a huge difference from supermarket eggs) and some delicious home made jam (everything they make from it goes to Cancer Research!). We'll definitely visit again!

Thank you so much for such a lovely weekend. We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. We do 4-6 breaks a year and without doubt yours is the best lodge we’ve stayed in. It is very comfortable and superbly equipped and maintained. It was so good that we cancelled a restaurant table booking and ordered a takeaway instead so we could make the most of our stay. If we decide to stay in your area again we would most definitely book again as we enjoyed it so much.

I stayed at the Kingfisher lodge for 2 nights. The lodge was absolutely perfect and I feel so relaxed after staying. The hot tub was amazing and the sauna just made it extra special, like having my own little spa. The lodge felt very private and the location was peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying.
