Last minute booking and so glad I found this place! Was perfect for some R&R, definitely will be coming back in the summer. Host is brilliant and communication is fantastic. Couldn’t fault the accommodation. Even looked up the mattresses cos I want one for home!!

My partner and I had a great weekend here. The only downfall was that it all went to quickly! From the start, the instructions to find the location were very simple, as was the instructions to get into the property. The information book that has been provided was extremely useful, from step by step instructions on how to use the hot tub and Sauna, to local food recommendations, it has it all in there. The place was immaculate, great amenities such as dishwasher, 4 ring hob, oven etc. and also individual room central heating system was great. All in all, probably the best AirBnb we’ve stayed in so far.

I couldn’t have been happier with my choice to stay at the Kingfisher lodge for a weekend away for my partner’s birthday. We arrived at the lodge after dark and were happy to see the path down to the lodges well lit and laid making the short walk walk from the car park with luggage easy. Since the photos taken, hedges have also been planted between the lodges for privacy, this is an excellent addition. The lodge itself was very clean and tidy. The bathroom is huge! And having TVs with sky and Netflix was a bonus. We were excited to try the hot tub and the sauna - both were very clean and relaxing. The farm is really quiet and peaceful. Gary’s instructions and recommendations left in the welcome guide were very clear and helpful. He has definitely thought of everything! Honestly the best weekend away - so romantic and relaxing, we just felt away from it. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be returning. Worth 10 stars if I could give them!

Amazing weekend getaway with a group of friends. The lodge is easy to find with plenty of parking spaces. The place itself was clean, modern and very homely. Kitchen had everything you needed and more. Hot tub made the stay perfect, as it was a chilly February we made full use of it. Lovely walks and pubs around the lodge with plenty of animals to see on your way. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the lodge, it was a perfect few days away. The cabin had everything we needed in such a beautiful location. The hot tub was amazing and so was the sauna. Communication from Gary was good and clear from the start. We hope to come back again soon.

Came with some friends and our young kids - was a perfect setup for us all, and we were all very comfortable - it has everything we needed, including some fresh coffee! I would definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend here! Instructions were easy to follow for the journey & getting into the cabin. We loved that we were able to bring our puppy along (hard to find now a days) which was one of the main reasons this cabin came up in my searches. We enjoyed a nice walk to the local pub / Chinese takeaway & the hot tub & sauna were beautiful! We will definitely be returning again!! Thank you :)

The place was lovely and clean, very good amenities, nice and quiet, great to relax, hot tub was beautiful, lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

After staying at Sparrowhawk Lodge last year and having a lovely time, I booked another stay for my parents. Gary was very friendly and helpful, and the stay was brilliant once again. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this place and hopefully will be back again!
