Excellent quality lodge in a great location. Absolutely stunning private hot tubs and one of the comfiest beds ever! Not to forget to mention Gary's exceptional hosting and helpful knowledge on the local area. Fantastic fresh eggs available from the chickens on the farm.

What a beautiful and comfortable place. We loved every minute of our stay. Gary is such a wonderful and attentive host. We will surely be back again. The accommodations is so cosy and the beds were so comfy.

We had a lovely stay in the Sparrowhawk lodge. We appreciated the attention to detail and the welcome pack which had all of the information we needed in it, including suggested restaurants/takeaways and clear instructions for the hot tub and sauna. We bought some eggs off Gary who was lovely and made us feel really welcome. We are already looking to stay again!

We spent 4 nights in the lodge as a family (two couples, a teenager and two dogs). The lodge was clean and well designed and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved having the decking with the gate so we knew the dogs were safe. We also loved going in the hot tub and looking at the Chiltern Hills and walking around the small lake there. A few pubs within walking distance too. Gary was a great host - we had trouble getting the sky box on and he came straight down and went out of his way to fix it. We also bought some eggs from the chickens there. Would definitely recommend and return to the Chiltern Lodges.

This hidden gem is idyllic - the scenery is tranquil, Gary is an amazing host and the cabin itself has everything you would need - pure luxury

Recently had a 6 night stay in the Kingfisher lodge, well what can I say the lodge was everything and alot more, the bed was very comfy and the entire lodge was very well laid out and equipped with everything you would need, very clean also. And the hot tub was a great addition too and was well used. Gary was a great bloke and very welcoming. Will stay again….

A beautiful, tranquil and idyllic location.
Everything inside the lodge was catered for and explained clearly for use within a well thought out manual.
Gary was very welcoming and helpful with tips for local walks and ideas on attracting the local red kites.
All in all an extremely pleasurable stay.
I would highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was thought of from the amazing facilities including sauna and hot tub, to the simple additions such as toiletries, slippers, robe and even fly swatter! The attention to detail made our stay run so smoothly and the detailed welcome pack was super informative! Gary was warm and welcoming and I would totally recommend a box of his chickens freshly laid eggs! Cannot wait to go back!!!

After spending a much enjoyed 2 night break staying in the Kingfisher lodge it was a shame that we had to leave, the location was peaceful and scenic and the facilities within the lodge were amazing.
The lake was very well maintained for any anglers wanting to fish and the on site tackle shop was also handy.
Everything when you arrive is perfectly presented in a welcome book which tells you how to use everything.
The added plus is that there's also a BBQ on site which was made use of with some local produce.
I would 100% recommend this stay to anyone considering a visit, you will not be let down.
