What a fabulous lodge! We stayed 2 nights in Sparrowhawk lodge and didn’t want to leave such a relaxing and luxurious place! Gary was really helpful and was very happy to show us around. The beds were incredibly comfy, the bathroom was huge with an amazing shower and sauna! The kitchenette had everything we needed and I was pleased to find a full supply of dishwasher tablets etc..! The hot tub was fabulous especially when it was raining!! We will definitely return.. next time with the kids and dog! Thank you!

We had a great 2 night stay in the kingfisher lodge. I had booked to stay here for my fiancé’s 30th birthday as he is a keen angler so this place looked like the perfect get away with the luxury lodges being a massive bonus. Gary met us when we arrived and was the perfect host. He explained how everything worked in the lodge and answered all questions my partner had about the fishing lake. They are also very dog friendly we took our dog last minute which wasn’t a problem and Gary made a fuss of her on arrival and anytime he saw her during our stay. The lodge itself was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for the perfect stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom exceeded expectations. The large freestanding bath was great, the shower was really powerful and the sauna room was an added bonus. The hot tub on the terrace was amazing! You can connect your phone by bluetooth to play music and the lights were really funky. We made use of this both nights of our stay and didn’t want to get out! The lodges are situated with a view of the lake which was ideal for my partner as he enjoyed watching the water from the hot tub in the early evening. Fishing was good he was fishing for carp and caught 4 and lost 2 so was pretty happy and would go there to stay and fish again. I am so glad I found this little gem would definitely recommended if you are looking for a luxury lodge stay and if you enjoy fishing. We will be staying again very soon.

We are just back from such a lovely Easter break staying at The Chiltern Lodges at Upper Farm Henton. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Red Kite Lodge which had an amazing hot tub. Gary & Ali were the perfect hosts, so helpful, nothing too much trouble. The lodge was so well equipped, everything you could possibly need including Sky & Netflix. Comfy beds, fab bathrooms, great kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher. Fantastic views & lovely fishing lake with shop for all fishing supplies. Super dog friendly. Would definitely recommend! The lodges are very well appointed, have everything you require for a break away. Conveniently close to everything.

Gary is a 5 Star host, no request is too difficult.
My second visit and I will return again.

I booked the Kingfisher lodge for my partners birthday as a surprise. We arrived at 8pm and it was pitch black, after phoning Gary to tell him we had arrived he came to meet us by the car and escorted us to the lodge. Gary took the time to show us how everything operates from the hot tub and sauna to the heating and what was available on the TVs. He offered some advice on where to eat at this time of night as we hadn’t had chance, to which we followed and had the best kebab of our lives! The lodge was absolutely spotless. I have not one fault to mention whatsoever. The sauna and hot tub were amazing and we certainly made the most of them. The simba bed in the lodge has now made our bed at home close to unbearable! I highly recommend a stay here as we cannot wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!

​Our stay completely met all my expectations and more. After being able to find no reviews on kingfisher lodge as it was new I was a little nervous but after seeing reviews for the pool house decided to go for it and was so glad I did! My partner and I were totally wowed by the lodge and surrounding area and said it was the best birthday surprise she’s ever had and for that I thank you Gary! We will most definitely be coming back in the near future!

Wonderful lodges which provides comfort for couples and families dependant on the lodge you book. Had the pleasure to stay in 3 bedroom lodge which was beautifully equipped and the hot tub was a great addition with fantastic views of the Chilterns hills. Gary & Ali are the perfect hosts and has thought through everything that you would need to ensure a fabulous stay. Will return very soon

The lodges are a home from home, they are comfortable well equipped and are outstanding value for money the hot tub is an added bonus combined with the views the fishing and the friendly and helpful owners you could not want for more 5 stars definitely.
