We had a fantastic stay in the Red Kite Lodge over the Christmas period. The venue and location were perfect and Gary was a great host. I would highly recommend!

Stayed over Christmas, I cannot fault in anyway whatsoever. If i could give 10 stars I would. Went as a family break. The location is perfect; your not far from a dog friendly little pub. The owner is fantastic always happy to answer any questions very polite and willing to do his best to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Lodge that we stayed in was the Kingfisher. Absolutely beautiful right round the corner out the way which was perfect as we have a nearly 3 year old, right in front of the fishing lake my partners a keen fisher so was perfect for him (caught 4 good size carp and few roach). Hot tub was fantastic . My dog also loved it as its pet friendly - beautiful wildlife birds etc and not to mention your just down the lane from a stables filled with beautiful horses . 10/10 will defo be booking again soon.

We had a lovely relaxing couple of days at Sparrowhawk Lodge. The setting was very rural on an equestrian centre. It was lovely chatting to ladies with the horses and seeing them exercise. The place itself was very Scandinavian feeling, and had everything you needed, Was very easy to check in and the tablet controls for heating etc were very swish. The Lake view was smashing and our Boxer Dog loved watching all the wildlife . The Bed was super comfortable, and the hot tub ( especially in the evening with multicoloured lighting ) and sauna were great, nice touch having robes and flip flops for our use . We took advantage of the beauty therapy service, with luxury pedicures and Indian Head massages. Maddy was lovely and the treatments really topped off our relaxed break. Definitely a luxury break which anyone who is debating should definitely do. Highly recommend accommodation.

We had the most relaxing couple of nights at Sparrowhawk Lodge. The surroundings were stunning, self check in was very straightforward, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The sauna, hot tub, and all the thoughtful touches made this feel like a very luxurious escape to the countryside. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Gary's place for a weekend. The lodge was spotless and very well-equipped with everything you needed for a relaxing weekend.the robes and flip flops were a lovely touch too. We took a walk to the local pub which was about a mile but well worth it. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely lodge, super easy check-in, everything well setup and easy to operate. We were left to ourselves for the duration which I really like, Gary was always available to contact should we need anything. Very peaceful setting, we made use of the recommended food spots which were delicious. Thanks!

Everything! Well stocked kitchen . Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was amazing ! Beautiful surroundings. Fabulous communication with owner . Nothing too much trouble .

Really is a great place to relax & switch off. Log cabin was lovely, as was the hot tub.
Gary was very friendly & very informative for the cabins & of the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Kite Lodge, it was perfect for our girls get together. The beds were super comfortable, with quality pillows and bed linen. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The lodge was cosy and warm and the location peaceful and private, and of course relaxing in the huge hot tub was amazing. We would love to come back again.

The Chiltern Lodges was a great place stay. Gary was a great host, the place was brilliant and was everything i was hoping to stay in. The places is also located very well with great walks and sightseeing nearby. Overall, this a great experience.
