We had a great stay in red kite lodge, the extra touches such as slippers and gowns for the hot tub, and fresh coffee made it a real luxury. We were provided with lots of recommendations for walks, pubs and things to do. We would highly recommend ‘The Thatch’ pub for a weekend breakfast, which is about a 12 minute drive from the lodge. The lodge was very clean and had all the amenities you would require. Gary was a great host providing an efficient check in/out and was quick to respond if we required any assistance.

I booked all 3 lodges and the pool house for a Friday to Sunday family get-together – 14 adults and one 3 year old. Five of us fished but mostly the others couldn't stop talking, Fishing was OK; the younger ones caught plenty but nothing big – but who cares ! The chalets and Pool house were very well appointed with quality furniture and equipment all as advertised Very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the weekend despite variable weather. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Family weekend here using all the lodges. Each one very well presented and equipped. Lovely pool, great hot tubs with each and saunas in two.
Fishing great with a choice of pegs to fish at and a variety of fish to try to catch. Handy tackle shop on site.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away, highly recommend Chiltern Lodges and Upper Farm Fishery!!

We had a great stay in Kingfisher Lodge. The lodge itself was brilliant and made great use of the space, with everything you could need and nothing you don't. The hot tub and sauna were lovely in the evenings after a few long walks in the surrounding area with the dog (who was also well looked after). It's a lovely, peaceful setting next to the lake and horses. Everything was perfect and I'm sure we'll be back soon. Thanks again!

We have just returned from a wonderful break at The Chiltern Lodges. The lodge has been designed very thoughtfully, to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation. Fantastic bed and very comfortable sofa. The decent TV was also appreciated. I absolutely loved the hot tub and sauna, to the point we are now looking at getting a sauna at home. My other half really enjoyed the fishing, catching quite a few carp over the week. Our Labrador also had a great time, particularly enjoying playing with Gary. The scenery is also beautiful, making the lodge break perfect. We will definitely be back!

The upper farm lodges are fantastic. Very cosy and clean and exactly what we were looking for from our break. The added extras of the sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub were amazing. The bathroom in our lodge was incredible. We received a warm welcome by Gary who was great and recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant for us to go to when we arrived later than expected and hungry! I will definitely be returning and have already made a number of recommendations to friends and family.

We had a great time at Kingfisher Lodge. The grounds are stunning. Being positioned by the lake is perfect for seeing a variety of wildlife. Its so tranquil. The Lodge is amazing. Has everything you need in the kitchen. We cooked both nights and amenities were perfect. The Sauna and Hot tub were class! A really nice touch is the sky tv and netflix subscription on both tvs in the lodge. Gary was a great host and can be contacted anytime. I will definitely recommend this place to Friends and Family.
