A relaxing and really enjoyable. stay
Excellent location overlooking the lake, great facilities loved the hot tub. Nice touch having Netflix and sky making movie night an easy decision. Excellent visitor arrival pack providing great recommendations for local pub/restaurant.

Easy to use heating system in the lodge along with an easy to use hot tub and sauna.

We loved the lodge! A little pocket of luxury in the Chilterns. Each room was perfectly equipped, the bed was super comfy, the view of willows over the lake was beautiful and the hot tub did a great job of soothing joints after a long walk in the hills. Gary is an excellent host, friendly and communicative, with a great eye for detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sparrowhawk Lodge.

We had a wonderful stay at Red Kite Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful modern, luxurious, spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard.
The private hot tub overlooking the Chiltern Hills was a real highlight and such a lovely place to relax and take in the peaceful countryside views. There is also a beautiful decking area, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings.
Inside, the lodge is just as impressive. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the beds are very comfortable with high-quality bedding, and the bathrooms are beautiful, stylish and finished to an excellent standard.
The whole lodge feels spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private, while still being close to some lovely pubs, restaurants and places to visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Kite Lodge and would happily return. A beautiful lodge in a stunning location.

Both a stunning lodge and location - i wish I could've stayed longer. Gary was friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all. Hot tub was perfect for star gazing late into the evening and made the stay even more special. The lodge is kitted out with everything you could need and was exceptionally comfortable. Impressive from welcome information, secure access to the site through to check out. I will be back asap!

Great location, very smooth check-in. Everything was very tidy and in place. Garry was very responsive, answering any questions we’ve about the property.

The lodge was absolutely idyllic. Inside it is incredibly comfortable- the air con was a welcome surprise in this heatwave. Everything just seems so well thought out and made me feel very at home and relaxed. The bathroom is beautiful and felt very luxurious and the kitchen is fitted with everything you could need. I would recommend the walks that Gary has mapped and also the Peacock pub in the village which is a really fabulous pub with delicious food and a delightful owner. All in all a wonderful stay - I didn't want it to end ✨

Just returned from Kingfisher Lodge. Another wonderful stay. Lots of fish caught .Evenings in the hot tub and sauna. Also a lovely Sunday lunch at The Peacock Pub just down the road. Thank you Gary. From a very rested couple.

Another fantastic couple of days!
We stayed in Red Kite Lodge. It was spotlessly clean well equipped and the air con was a godsend. Beautiful location close to the lovely village of Chinnor and Gary our host is brilliant! Great fishing too !

We had a great long weekend at The Chiltern Lodges. The lodge was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for a peaceful break away. It was great to wake up surrounded by countryside and have such a relaxing place to unwind.

The fishing was a big bonus for my partner and me, the lake is really well kept and my partner managed to catch an 11lb carp, which was a brilliant highlight of the trip. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and enjoying a bit of fishing.

The whole place has a really welcoming feel, and the hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time and would happily recommend The Chiltern Lodges. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
