Peaceful, very responsive host, clear instructions, beautiful environment.

My getaway was so so so good and the hot tub oh my dayssss... would book here and again.

Had a lovely long weekend staying in the Kingfisher lodge. The lodge is really private and peaceful looking out onto a beautiful lake. The hot tub and sauna were great and little touches like the amazing shower, comfy bed and sky TV all made our stay luxurious. Gary provided really helpful instructions and recommendations of places to eat as well as local walks to try. Everyone on the farm were really friendly and would highly recommend, it’s a little gem!

The Sparrowhawk Lodge was perfect. The scenery around and the peaceful location were beautiful. Gary was extremely helpful during the stay, and the welcome pack/book gave us all the info we needed to explore the local area and visit restaurants and pubs. We also followed one of the walks Gary had mapped out, which was excellent. The lodge had everything we needed and we'd highly recommend it to everyone. We'll hopefully be visiting again.

We stayed here for our minimoon with our dog and we absolutely loved it. Great host with great, clear instructions on absolutely everything. Our lodge was excellent, had all the amenities we needed. Hot tub was great. It was so peaceful staying here and all the people we bumped into were really friendly. We have already discussed about staying here again, it was fantastic. Thank you so much!

This lodge had everything. From the Simba (expensive and comfortable) bed, to the amazing sauna and hot tub. Everything was top quality, clean and working perfectly. They’d gone the extra mile with everything and created the most wonderful lodge. Perfect distance for West London and Reading for some work we needed to do, and the perfect retreat afterwards. The fifteenth and best lodge we’ve stayed in for business or pleasure.

Excellent little hideaway which had everything we needed for a long weekend. The large hot tub and sauna inbuilt into the en-suite were great. Kingfisher is one of 3 lodges located adjacent to each other but each is carefully placed, making it feel very private. Beautiful view overlooking the lake where we spotted lots of wildlife during our stay. The eggs we ordered from the farm were also lovely! Thank you for a brilliant stay.

Wonderful! Don’t think you could ask for any more.. location, views, cleanliness, accommodation and what was provided were all fantastic. Loved our weekend away here.
Everything was immaculate, you would think they were brand new.
We’ve stayed in a lot of self catering places and none of them were to this standard, even dream lodges didn’t provide as much. From the fresh ground lavazza coffee MILK and sugar on arrival to the WI-FI and streaming services on the TV. were all perfect. We stayed during a storm but inside the lodge was cozy and quiet, was nice to be able to spend one evening on the sofa watching a film on sky. Despite the weather we still made use of the hot tub and the sauna didn’t disappoint either.
The location was great for visiting Oxford etc and some lovely walks. They even have a fishing lake that was lovely. There were some nice places to eat nearby and a nice farmers market with lovely produce in town.
We will definitely come back, maybe when the weather is better so we can enjoy the outside more and have a barbecue. Would recommend 100%

The place is perfect if you want peace and quiet. It offers a combination of tranquillity, comfort, modern technology, and a hotel feel. The view of the lake in front of the lodge is amazing. Having a hot tub and sauna, coupled with the privacy and beautiful surroundings, made it a perfect getaway. We received straightforward instructions on how to get to the property. Additionally, the property has detailed instructions on how to use the amenities, as well as recommendations for local pubs and activities. The host was friendly, professional, and approachable.
