The lodge was beautiful and exactly as described. We met Gary and Emma while there and both were so friendly and helpful. We went away for 3 days for a short honeymoon and the lodge couldn’t have been more perfect.

Great place to stay, would recommend if you're in the area. Good hot tub, sauna was great and the bed was proper comfy. It's an easy place to find and access, nice area too.

Excellent breakaway with 2 kids. Lodge was exactly as described and Gary was on hand for anything we needed. Kids loved feeding the chickens and horses and some great local pubs.

Wow this place was amazing we so enjoyed being able to completely relax & switch off from our busy lives. Gary’s place offers not only a great place to fish surrounded by natural beauty but also offers the luxury stay in this beautiful lodge where we could indulge in some pampering with the private sauna & hot tub. Definitely going back again!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Sparrowhawk lodge. The accommodation was perfection; comfortable bed, every amenity you can think of, all the mod cons and more. The lodge was pristine and spacious. There was so much to do in the local area as well as at the lodge itself (Netflix, Jacuzzi, Sauna) it was hard to decide whether to stay in or go out! We did some lovely local walks and had some fab pub grub. Gary was also a great host and his comprehensive Welcome Guide meant we had literally no questions before or during our stay. Gary had it all covered. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back.

Exceptionally clean, high quality fixtures and fittings, brilliant sanitary ware, peaceful, amazing bed wow what comfort! Sauna and hot tub were very much appreciated on such cold dismal days. Highly recommend.

Great location for some time away from the city, in a private feeling space that was just what we needed. If you're looking for a great time in, using the sauna and the hot tub, popping to the pub, it's the perfectspot for that.

It was clear from the moment we checked in that everything had been thought about. The tv at a perfect angle in the bedroom, the toilet paper in the perfect position, the welcome email Gary sent with recommendations. A stunning place to stay in stunning surroundings. Looking forwards to visiting again soon!

Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful complex, very comfortable and clean. Always a wonderful place to stay and has never failed to give us a fantastic experience no matter the time of year.
Absolutely nothing to complain about, it is simply fantastic.
