Worthy of the 5* reviews, this lodge was a great base for a gathering of friends. In a beautiful location with local walks and pubs, the owner has thought of everything in the information pack to allow for a super smooth stay. The lodge is exceptionally clean and well equipped, including robes and flip flops when using the hot tub. Comfy beds. Highly recommended.

Fishing at Upper Farm
We stayed at Red Kite Lodge. We have been before. Accommodation was excellent, spotless, as usual. Enjoyed the hot tub and the views. The fishing was excellent. Loads of beautiful silvers (mainly perch and roach) and landed two large carp, but lost another three! Gary was friendly and welcoming as usual. Made good use of Emma's tackle shop again - thanks Emma for having all the things we needed. Fantastic trip!

This was our first visit to the Lodges, we will definitely book again
The Lodges are part of a very impessive holiday home, fishing and equestrian set up. The Lodges are described as 'luxury' and they definitely meet the description with features such as hot tub,sauna,Sky TV, heating and a/c in a safe and secure environment. The Lodge exceeded what I expected from the description on the website. Gary (the owner) showed a personal interest in ensuring everything was of the highest standard.

Really lovely, cosy and relaxing place to stay. Very clean and a really comprehensive information guide provided. The area is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying here… I would definitely visit again 🙂

The Kingfisher Lodge was absolute heaven
The tranquility and peace was a breath of fresh air. Felt like we were in our own little bubble. My husband fished and I read. We adored the sauna and used the hot tub each evening. The lodge had everything you needed. The cleanliness and layout of the lodge was 5 star. We have found our secret hideaway which will return to. We also ate at The Peacock Pub 2 evenings out of our 3 day break . The food was brilliant and the staff were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary. Thankyou

A totally relaxing experience in luxury accommodation.
We liked everything about our stay; the cabin was first class, the surrounding area was peaceful yet within an easy distance of restaurants, pubs etc. Gary was great as a host and very helpful to our grandson who is a newcomer to the sport of fishing. All in all, a great experience and highly recommended.

We booked this stay last minute & we couldnt recommend it enough. If your looking for a peaceful break look no further than these lodges. Such a beautiful area with some wholesome views of the lake and wildlife. We would return in the future and definitely recommend it to friends and family.

A lovely luxury retreat to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The accommodation was well prepared and had all the amenities as described. The sauna and hot tub were fabulous. Gary couldn’t have been more helpful.
The location was superb with great restaurants and hostelries within walking distance. The ride on the steam train between Chinnor and Princes Risborough was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

An absolutely wonderful lodge in beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean with high end fixtures and fittings. lots of little personal touches such as robes, flip flops and toiletries. Excellent accommodation and highly recommended. We will definitely be going back.

We had a fabulous time at The Red Kite Lodge. We were walking the eastern section of The Ridgeway and it was an ideal place for doing this. It was quiet, very secure, had amazingly comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen as well as a shower that was really powerful and the hot tub was a blessing after a days walking.

Gary was a fabulous host who communicated really well, had great recommendations and left us to it while we were there.

This is a fabulous place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area.
