This is an absolute gem! The Lodge is so cosy and warm - we kept forgetting that we were in mid February! Gary shares loads of information in the welcome pack, so make sure you read that before you arrive - we took advantage of the fresh eggs, the 4 mile circular walk and a massage from Beauty Therapist Madeline Fitzek (all of which are mentioned in the welcome pack). Check in was so easy and instructions were clear. We visited as 3 girls celebrating a big birthday and made use of all of the bedrooms, which all had very comfy beds in them. The lodge was spotless and is indeed a luxury lodge. It has everything you need included loads of crockery and a dishwasher. The icing on the cake is definitely the Hot-tub which we used A LOT!! We had the best weekend and will definitely be back - thank you Gary and your team

Me and my partner were very impressed with our stay, we enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful break. The facilities are great, the hot tub and sauna really made our stay, we will definitely be back and we would 100% recommend.

This place is quite delightful, the standard of cleanliness was exceptional and there were so many lovely little touches. A brilliant nights sleep with an amazing mattress and incredible pillows (so good I am looking into buying one). The area has lots of walks and is easily accessible. The cottage is lovely, my only caveat is that it faces the car parking area rather than the lake but you don't really notice. The hot tub was such a treat and the kitchen was really well equipped. A real treat of a stay and would gladly go back again.

The lodge was excellent....I was very impressed and would seriously consider staying again, if we were in the area again. The whole experience was very professional - Very, very clear instructions, a great welcome pack, info on the area, instructions on how to operate everything. We were set up in the lodge in under five minutes after unpacking the car...so SIMPLE. The actual lodge is very warm, a decent size, had everything you need; good bedroom, high spec bathroom and kitchen. Lots of entertainment options like Netflix, sauna, jacuzzi, BBQ etc. It really was perfect....an amazing little get away overlooking a fish pond, 40 mins drive from West London. I was very impressed, you could tell the owners had been doing this for years, as all the pain points and potentially issues had been clearly ironed out...a very smooth process from start to end. Literally, I cannot fault it....there was nothing out of place or missing. They really had thought of everything....very impressive and an excellent little business on a spare field of a farm !!

I booked this stay as a present for my parents and they loved their break away - they went as far as to say it was the most relaxing break they'd ever had and particularly loved the sauna. Gary was so great answering my queries straight away and providing detailed information on the accommodation and area in advance.

My 5* short break journey started from day one of booking, starting with fantastic communication including an information booklet to download. Great communication continued with relevant updates up until we arrived. Upon arrival the lodge was accessed with ease due to clear instructions for check in. This is where the weekend really began, beautiful surroundings and a stunning lodge. Cleanliness could not be knocked, including COVID-19 guidance. All we needed for our stay was available, plus more! The hot tub and sauna were a bonus, made only better by the clear instructions available to work them. The only reason I rated the lodge a 4 for value for money is that it is an average cost. That being said once you experience it, you understand it's worth.

This was the first time six friends could come together in 3 years, and we couldn't have been more delighted with this lodge. The perfect venue and location, made even more enjoyable as two of us were able to bring our dogs. Hot tub was lovely, super comfortable beds, fantastic and responsive communication from Gary and excellent facilities. Thanks so much again.

Fantastic accommodation, exceptionally clean, modern, warm and well equipped. Excellent hot tub with privacy and quiet surroundings. Great support and information given throughout. Gary is a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Would recommend this place to anyone. Would happily return in the future.

An absolutely fantastic stay at this great spot. Very clean, modern and luxurious yet in the middle of a farm and surrounded by nature. Gary is a great host who's friendly, welcoming and willing to do anything possible to make our stay an enjoyable one. We have also enjoyed a very good massage by Madeline, her details are in the welcome booklet. I highly recommend her. It was our first time here but I am sure that I will see Gary (and Maddy) again!

I cant say much more than 5 star! A true gem and real luxury stay. Great value for money and the attention to detail from the welcome pack, through to the layout. Host was a true gentleman, gave us our own space but as soon as we had a question he was there to help. Our dogs loved him too! We will be back.
