Red Kite Lodge was idyllic, a beautiful timber building, beautifully arranged inside so spacious yet including everything you could need. Clearly no expense has been spared on the important things like bed quality, bathrooms and toiletries. The hot tub was amazing! Check in and communications on what’s around and walks we could do was excellent. All in all a perfect stay and we will 100% be returning!

Really good communication! The cabin was extremely clean! We have stayed at some places in the UK that have “deep cleaned” and we’ve had to clean before using. This cabin however was spotless! We were in Kingfisher which also came with its own private fishing peg on the lake so we knew we would always have a spot! Sauna was a nice touch as not many places have them and was nice to have that “Spa” experience for the weekend just to relax! Lots of information required on EVERYTHING in the information hand book which was extremely helpful! If we didn’t know about something, we knew it would be in there. Very friendly staff at the tackle shop too where she told us that they actually spend many hours scrubbing and cleaning before new guests arrive. If there was one small thing I could fault it would be that the grout in the bathroom was coming out and we found a few bits floating around but that’s just petty! Absolutely stunning place and we are 100% coming back next year for a full week this time! Worth every penny! The best cabin we have stayed in!!

Really enjoyed my time at this stunning venue. The lodge is amazing with everything you need to make your stay perfect. The host is brilliant and full of information about the area. I wish I had booked a longer stay! I will definitely be back again.

If you are thinking about booking Red Kite lodge do not hesitate! My friends and I had a really lovely stay here and will be back. The host is wonderful, quick to respond to questions and sends really useful information before the stay. The lodge was very clean, comfortable and incredibly well kitted out. The location is great for walks and access to pretty nearby villages. There is plenty of parking and although the lodge is nearby two other lodges the set-up is such that you feel that you are in your own space. The view from the lodge includes a fishing lake and fields of horses. The hot tub was amazing.

We had an incredible stay here. Comfortable, clean and lots of little details had been thought of. Great communication from Gary throughout. And the hot tub was fantastic! Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Red Kite lodge with some friends, the lodge is laid out perfectly with every mod con you could want or need, it was ideal just to chillout in the spa and look at the surrounding countryside and wildlife, and that includes all the horses that are kept on site, there is an on site fishing lake which next time I stay I will take my fishing gear, didn't this time as I knew I wouldn't have time. You can get fresh eggs on site which Gary the owner bought down to us and had a chat, he is extremely nice and pointed us in the right direction to the local pubs and info on the area.
Would definitely stay again.

This lodge is amazing the area is so peaceful we had such a lovely stay, the check in process was so easy and Gary was so helpful answered all my questions it was for a surprise birthday and Gary helped me find a local balloon company and let them in early so the balloons were there when we arrived the lodge is so clean and modern, cannot fault anything thank you again.

An absolutely amazing place to stay. The pictures on the website are so accurate, we didn’t think it possible for it to be as beautiful as the pictures but it is! Everything was so clean and tidy and the facilities are amazing. We had a lovely time and will definitely be recommending to everyone. A lovely place for a little romantic getaway.

Excellent quality lodge in a great location. Absolutely stunning private hot tubs and one of the comfiest beds ever! Not to forget to mention Gary's exceptional hosting and helpful knowledge on the local area. Fantastic fresh eggs available from the chickens on the farm.

What a beautiful and comfortable place. We loved every minute of our stay. Gary is such a wonderful and attentive host. We will surely be back again. The accommodations is so cosy and the beds were so comfy.
