We’ve just had a relaxing few days at Red Kite lodge. It’s in a brilliant location, very peaceful with views of the Chilterns as you recline in the hot tub. The lodge had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Gary was the perfect host, providing us with lots of information on the surrounding area and reassured us that he was available if we needed him. We didn’t need to contact him as everything was perfect. We will definitely be returning but will book for longer next time. Three days just wasn’t enough...and I’m missing the hot tub already.

Absolutely gorgeous property, the view from the hot tub was lovely! I stayed here for Christmas and had a lovely break using the hot tub and sauna!

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely stay here. The lodge was clean and cosy, with some lovely extra touches. There has clearly been some real effort put in to ensure a comfortable stay; the simba mattress was extremely comfy, and having WiFi and Netflix at hand was a nice surprise. The hot tub and sauna were great, and the instructions provided were really easy to follow. The views from the lodge and the hot tub were stunning, and we managed to see a couple of red kites overhead despite the windy weather. Gary was lovely and provided us with loads of helpful information. We'll definitely be back!

Wow! We had the most amazing stay! If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I would! The lodge was wonderful, so clean, modern and amazing facilities - we absolutely loved the hot tub! Surrounding area is gorgeous. Couldn’t have asked for better hospitality either - thanks Gary! Itching to come back here already!

When we arrived, check in was so simple, and the lodge was perfect. There were so many lovely details and it was so well kept and stylish. The hot tub was incredible and luxurious! Gary was a fantastic host who was attentive and accommodating to our requests. We had a fantastic stay.

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, amazing log cabin with a lovely view over the fishing lake. Such a lovely place to just sit and unwind in the hot tub. Very straight forward checking in and out process. Everything was amazing, exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely loved our stay. It felt like a little luxurious lodge in the country and had everything you could ever imagine needing. Loved the little touches such as the fresh coffee in the fridge to the robes. All the instructions on how to work the heating, sauna and hot tub were very clear. Was great how they had a Netflix subscription also! The little village isn’t too far a walk and had a little shop where we could pick up a few things we had forgotten! I can’t speak more highly of this place. Would recommend!

Loved the place and the surrounding area, I stayed here during lockdown as I was working on an engineering project nearby, with my busy schedule this place made me feel less stressed and really helped me relax and enjoy my day even though it was in between work, Beautiful set up, super clean and literally perfect cant fault anything at all.. you can really tell this is really well thought out and a lot of careful planning went into this place to make the stay the most enjoyable it can be, definitely recommend and cant wait to be back hopefully after lockdown for a real relaxing holiday rather than work.

The tranquil setting is perfect to escape the stresses of every day life. Gary is a great host, and is always pleased to offer any assistance, or advice regarded dogs walks, fishing tips etc. Freshly laid eggs were a nice touch on our arrival. And there are lovely toiletries, robes, and all the essentials and much more in the lodge. We will definitely return.

Gary’s place was really beautiful. Great for a romantic get away or for anyone needing a relaxing quiet break. The hot tub, sauna and bathroom where clean and again beautiful. I highly recommend.
