Just got back from a stay at one of the lodges and it was lovely from start to finish, I only wish we’d booked longer! Gary was great and let us check in early and then showed us around the lodge and recommended places for us. Really impressive and such a refreshing break and we will definitely be back!

The lodge as well as well Gary's hospitality have been absolutely superb. The word 'luxury' is certainly fitting to this property and the way it has been kitted out. The hot tub, the bath tub, the indoor sauna...only to name a few. Additionally, I was able to tell throughout the stay that a lot of love and passion has gone into making the accommodation perfect. Down to every last detail. While the close to 30 pages long welcome pack may seem daunting, it is worth the read. Anything you may wanted to know and a lot more! Lastly, the communication with Gary has been extremely fast, polite and easy going both before and during the stay. THE perfect accommodation for a couple's or family's weekend getaway. Thank you, Gary!

Everything especially its atmosphere, horses, comfort and excellent hospitality of the owner of the farm who personally helped us in every stage and made our stay excellent. I will definitely make program for my next holidays, very relaxing atmosphere, excellent staff, it is the luxurious holidays I have ever enjoyed, great value of money, I will definitely recommend it to my family friends and colleagues - excellent facilities, excellent accommodation and every facility was well managed

We’ve just arrived home after spending a weekend here. Lodges are done to an extremely high standard both inside and out, everything you could possibly need in them plus the added bonus of a sauna and hot tub. Gary was very welcoming and friendly, popped down to the lake to see how my other half was getting on fishing a couple of times. Emma in the tackle shop was very helpful, shop is well stocked with everything you would need for a successful days fishing. We will definitely be returning in the very near future

The Red Kite Lodge is modern and clean and is located in the beautiful countryside. Gary was very friendly and helpful and we greatly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Upper Farm Henton.

Where do I start? From arrival Gary was there promptly to show us to our lodge and give us a full tour of the facilities. The Lodge was immaculate and was far superior than any of pictures on the AirBnB Ad. The Hot Tub and Sauna were amazing not to mention how comfy the bed was. The Lodge has everything you could possibly want. There was a huge amount of information provided in the information pack about Chinnor and the surrounding areas, places to eat, things to do and much more. The grounds of Upper Farm were beautiful and very peaceful. We will definitely be returning. For anyone that is looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway this is the place to go. All mod cons. Beautiful views and amazing hot tub.

Me and my partner are both self employed and the last few months have been hectic, we booked the lodge for a weekend of relaxation and to just chill. Firstly Gary took us around the lodge and showed us how everything worked, he’s a top bloke and really made us feel welcome. ​

The lodge was amazing, really clean and just what we needed. The sauna is a perfect size and the hot tub (that we never managed to stay out for for more than a couple of hours all weekend) was unreal. At night with the stars above you it really makes it special. On top of that the whole farm is lovely and peaceful and as I enjoy a bit of fishing the fishery added to the weekend.

Gary pointed us in the right direction when we wanted to go for a walk and where to eat (the local kebab place is the best iv ever had), with the local pub offering an amazing Sunday roast too.

​The most relaxing weekend ever! The place is that amazing we have booked again in a couple of weeks with the children and couldn’t recommend the place enough. Last of all thank you to Gary for being a great host and always having the time (even when he’s really busy) to come over for a chat and answer all of our questions.

Had a lovely weekend at the Chiltern Lodges at the end of July. Beautiful setting and fantastic accommodation. Thank you Gary for your wonderful hospitality, you really have a an amazing spot. Would highly recommend staying here. Hope to be back soon.

I spent just over two weeks staying in the Red Kite Lodge with two children and we had a fantastic time. The lodge was very well equipped, and we made the most of the hot tub with incredible views over the Chiltern Hills.
A peaceful location, easily accessible, with very friendly & helpful owners.
