I don't think we realised how much we needed some time off, away from noise and busy life. Thanks Gary, your place is just the perfect place to disconnect from all the above and reconnect with the person you care about. The hot tub and sauna are an amazing bonus.

Amazing stay! Beautiful view. Very private. Very quiet. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Dressing gowns and flip flops were a great touch and the bed and pillows were so comfortable!

Me and my partner stayed here as a pre valentines treat. It was amazing. Just perfect. Found last minute and we was very lucky. Reasonably priced for everything you get. Gary was a brilliant host. The lodge is amazing clean and lovely time to relax. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We went to a nice pub the black horse for dinner which was also amazing. Gary you are an amazing host and hope to be back soon.

Stayed as a group of girls for a weekend away. Beautiful location, hot tub big enough for the five of us, fantastic amenities with really comfy beds. Robes and flip flops were a really nice touch too. Gary was a great host with brilliant communication. Highly recommend!

I am a bit of a worrier but from the moment I made contact I felt at ease. Communicated with Gary before booking, he was very approachable and informative Found the place easy, loved it. There was more than I expected from food/drink bits to the technology Would love to come again if he would have me.

A very homely place to stay. Gary gives all the information and recommendations in advance. Lodge was as described and felt very clean and homely

The lodge is very well presented, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The location is great with a view of the lake, lovely walks on your doorstep and a nice pub just 10 minutes walk away.
We will definitely be back!

We had the most amazing stay at the Chiltern Lodges with friends over NYE. We hired 3 lodges (including the Pool House) for 3 families. The lodges are spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy a chilled breakaway. Gary is a brilliant host. A great place to recharge, walk, watch sunsets and look up at the stars! Highly recommend.

Great little lodge overlooking the fishing pond but private enough for the hot tub on the veranda. The sauna was a great extra. Kitchen well stocked and rest of the accommodation very comfy. Went for some lovely walks from the lodge and was lucky enough that the steam train was running from Chinnor the weekend we were there. Stopped at the Lions at Bledlow for lunch which was very nice. A real walkers pub where most people were walking about in their socks! Food was good. Another day we stopped at The Peacock Inn but felt a little uncomfortable stopping with muddy clothes. We hadn’t booked so was only able to get a bowl of soup. Would definitely return for even more walking when the weather is kinder and fields less muddy.

Great place to stay for a Christmas break. Nice and quiet . Great place for walks with our 2 dogs .
