There is so much to see and do during your vacation rental stay at Upper Farm Henton. Below are a few suggestions and useful links to help you plan your visit.

Midsomer Murders Filming Locations

Midsomer Murders (TV Show Filming Locations)

Fans know Midsomer as the home of traditional pubs, village greens, fetes and Sunday afternoon cricket. They watch the improbable number of murders committed in dastardly yet creative ways, and solved by the unflappable Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby of Causton CID. But that’s the fictional Midsomer County.

The real-life Midsomer Murders locations are spread across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire where towns and villages have names every bit as wonderful as their fictional counterparts. South Oxfordshire’s villages, stately homes, stone cottages and market towns provide around half of the filming locations.

The Chiltern Lodges at Upper Farm Henton, is an ideal base for visiting many of the locations used during filming.

Take a look at the Visit Midsomer web page to find out more about tours and filming locations.  Click here.

On entering the Caves, long winding passages lead deep underground for over half a mile, through the great Banqueting Hall and past various chambers. In these you will find statues of various members of the Hell-Fire Club.  The final destination is the Inner Temple, which is reached by crossing the River Styx. You are now several hundred feet below the Church on top of the hill with its Golden Ball.
